In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of prohibited practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
